In November 1954, a group of passionate artisans came together to form the Mizusawa Foundry Industry Cooperative Association, dedicated to preserving and enriching the Nambu Tekki tradition. This cooperative became the lifeblood of small and medium-sized foundry businesses, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.

By pooling resources for joint product sales, bulk purchasing, and shared facilities, the association empowered its members to thrive in a competitive market.
