Harnessing the Power of Nature

With delicate expertise, Orii harnesses the innate corrosive properties of copper and brass, skillfully manipulating chemicals and flames to create a mesmerizing interplay of textures and vibrant colors. While this traditional coloring technique was once limited to bulky castings, Orii's exceptional craftsmanship has unlocked its full potential, allowing them to achieve stunning coloration even on copper sheets thinner than 1mm.

Through the skilled hands and imaginative minds of artisans, a simple piece of metal is elevated to a realm of infinite colors and captivating patterns. Each item possesses a unique blend of colors and textures, ensuring that every piece is a truly distinctive work of art.

Brand History

Takaoka, a charming town located in Toyama Prefecture, boasts a remarkable history spanning over 400 years. This quaint little place is not only steeped in tradition but also renowned for its cutting-edge casting technology.

Back in 1950, Orii Color Works, now known as Momentum Factory Orii, was established and since then, it has been carrying forward the rich heritage of the region by adding vibrant colors to a wide range of castings. Driven by their passion for exploration, Orii constantly seeks new possibilities by delving into the authentic colors that can be derived from copper and brass. With their unwavering dedication and innovative approach, they continue to push the boundaries of what can be achieved in the realm of coloring.
