The Kanetsune Seki Enyou-Tou Camp Knife is designed for versatility and reliability, offering the perfect balance of strength, weight, and control for a wide range of outdoor activities. Its 120mm drop point blade is crafted for adaptability, excelling at tasks from preparing firewood to detailed campcraft work.

Forged from a mono-layer of AUS-8 stainless steel, the blade delivers an exceptional combination of toughness, sharpness, and corrosion resistance. The tsuchime (hammered) finish not only gives the blade a rugged, handcrafted appearance but also reduces friction during cutting, making each slice smoother and more efficient. At 5mm thick, the blade offers heavy-duty durability, capable of withstanding the rigors of camping, hiking, and survival use.

Built with a full tang construction, the knife provides outstanding stability and strength. The ergonomically contoured plywood handle fits naturally in the hand, delivering a secure grip whether you're carving, splitting, or performing detailed tasks. A brass lanyard hole is integrated for additional carrying options or securing the knife during use.

The Enyou-Tou comes with a sturdy leather sheath that protects the blade and allows for easy, active carry. Designed with a belt loop and D-ring, the sheath ensures the knife remains close and ready for action at your waist.

Proudly made in Seki City, Japan, where centuries of blade-making expertise live on, this knife embodies the spirit of traditional craftsmanship adapted for modern outdoor life.

Seki Blades: Craftsmanship Forged Through Centuries

In the forested hills of Gifu Prefecture, the city of Seki has been forging blades for over 800 years. It was here, during the Kamakura period, that swordsmiths sought the pure waters, fine clay, and pine charcoal that would help shape some of Japan's finest swords. In time, Seki blades earned a reputation for being unbreakable, unbending, and devastatingly sharp—an ideal trifecta for warriors of the era.

As peace gradually replaced conflict, Seki’s smiths turned their skills to new forms: kitchen knives, shears, and folding blades crafted with the same attention to balance and sharpness. Today, the spirit of Seki’s sword-making tradition endures, not only in ceremonial blades but in the tools we carry and use—crafted to be precise, purposeful, and enduring companions for modern life.

Brand History

Specializing in camping knives, folding knives, and utility blades, Kitasho builds each piece with care: marrying time-honored forging techniques with modern steels, ergonomics, and durability.

Designed for the outdoors, for the hand, and for daily use, Kanetsune Seki knives carry forward the essence of Seki’s blade-making legacy—offering sharpness you can trust and craftsmanship you can feel, whether at a campfire or at workbench.
