From a forge established in Ono City in 1936, Onoyoshi Hamono has spent three generations refining horticultural and pruning blades within one of Japan's most storied blade-making traditions. The Tanaka brothers fire-forge and hand-finish every blade through more than 100 sequential steps, producing work shaped as much by the feedback of working gardeners as by the demands of the steel itself.
